What is going on?

Hours before you arrive for our Sunday Services at 9:00 & 11 am, teams are preparing music, drama, snack items and more.  Technical and musical teams are in place for the worship team rehearsal. Ushers and Greeters fold and stuff the weekly bulletin which is packed with information about RVC.  Children's Ministry personnel are preparing skits, arts and crafts and presentations for the wonderful children who attend each week.  The prayer team is praying for each aspect of the service.  The pastor is finalizing his preparations for the sermon.

What happens when I get there?

You will be greeted by a friendly face and a comforting handshake when you first arrive.  Greeters will answer any questions you may have.  Ushers will help find seating for you.  Relevant and inspiring music typically sets the tone for the services, with an invitation for you to sing along as you feel comfortable.  You will be given an opportunity to receive a free DVD with three messages from our Senior Pastor. The service is comprised of opportunities for you to explore your faith and deepen your personal relationship with Jesus Christ through: prayer, music, drama presentations, personal stories, monthly communion and relevant teaching from the Word of God.

What won't happen when I visit ?

While you will be warmly greeted, you will not be singled out or put on the spot in our services.  You will not be expected to give financially, although everyone is given an opportunity.  You will not be seen as an "unexpected stranger" rather as an honoured guest!  Your personal style of worship is respected whether it be quiet and reflective or enthusiastically involved!

What happens when the service is over ?

Pastors, prayer team members and other ministry leaders are available to meet you, pray with you, or answer any questions you may have; only at your request.  The Information Table in the main foyer provides materials to help you learn more about the church, our family of churches and possible discover where you may be able to get involved at RVC. You can stay for beverages and snacks available in the foyer where friendships are often discovered and strengthened week by week, or simply leave at your leisure.

So... we hope you will visit us soon and let us know - is this an accurate description of a visit to the Regina Victory Church?  Hope to meet you soon!
